How to Delete Your Account
Chaturbate calls it “Disable Account” rather than delete. The process is straightforward.
Steps:
- Log in to your Chaturbate account
- Click your username in the top-right corner
- Select “Settings” from the dropdown
- Scroll to the bottom of the settings page
- Click “Disable Account”
- Confirm when prompted
Your account is immediately disabled. You won’t appear in search, your profile becomes inaccessible, and you can’t log in.
What Happens After Disabling
Your tokens: Any remaining token balance is forfeited. Spend them before disabling if you have any remaining. Chaturbate does not refund unused tokens.
Your username: It becomes unavailable to others. No one else can register with your username after you disable.
Your data: Chaturbate removes your profile information. Under GDPR (if you’re in the EU), you can request complete data deletion by emailing support@chaturbate.com.
Reversibility: There is a brief window after disabling where you can reactivate by contacting support. After that window closes, the deletion is permanent.
Can You Re-Register Later?
Yes. You can create a new account with a different username and email after permanently deleting your old account. Your previous token purchases, followers, and history will not transfer - it’s a fresh start.
Before You Delete
Consider whether you actually need to delete:
- Want to stop receiving emails? Go to Settings → Notifications and uncheck everything. No need to delete.
- Want to stop a subscription? Cancel your auto-refill or fan club subscriptions in Settings → Billing before deleting.
- Worried about privacy? You can set your profile to private and change your username in settings without deleting entirely.
